Its been like this all day... When I check whos online theres people on the server. I didnt have the problem last night when I was playing, whats going on?

So, it's been a very long time since I've been able to play <back in Oct 07'> and I'm trying to download the patches I've missed. Unfortunately, I get this:

2007-11-14b_NewBGM.rgz download failed.

Any suggestions? I'm also not sure how to do manual patches, if that's what is required to get past this point.

This only just started happening once that new skill interface was put in. I'm using aRO light also. Well the thing is I only crash when I look at my linker and alchemist skills, not my merchant or knight. RO and SAK are 100% updated as of last night, reinstalled aRO light just as RO and SAK were updated too. I let the aRO patcher do its thing and still nothing. I tried asking a few of the GM's but they didnt seem to reply all that much. Any answers? I dont wanna dl the huge aRO client either =/

Hey.. i can get to start aRO. i click it and it has a thing that says click ok to login but when i click ok a box pops up and says Unexpected program error occured! Ragnarok will be shutdown because of unexpected program error. Please report these game errors to gravity or game master. Below that theres this code:

and i couldnt get the troubleshooter to come up on my computer. i havent gotten to play yet and I'm not sure what to do from here... plus my head's starting to hurt..

When I am clicking the "Exit to Windows" button on the exit menu, I get this message in my chat bar saying, "You can't quit right now."
About 5 seconds later I get the "Disconnected from Server." window.

I had to erase my computer due to a problem I couldn't get rid of and I forgot to back-up my old client. *sigh*

I redownloaded the client and it patched just fine, however when I made the attempt to go to the Login screen, i get a Gravity error. Here's a screenshot: [attachment=537:stupiderror.PNG]

I received the new patches but now when I go to open my client it close it immediately and brings up a notice that appears to say the file is corrupt...I have no idea what to do to resolve this problem.

I click on my aRO and the first box comes up, patching complete and I click start, I see aRO pop up, disapear, then it never loads.

i downloaded the angelicRO (1.53 G) i think? and the aRO light patcher thing.. ye but, now what do i do? I'm dumb so i put them both together... (was i supposed to do that?) well i moved and replaced the files, and well then i followed the lame non-detailed instructions from that one .txt file inside. it says after i extract it inside just run the aRO.exe and it should work.. well i do that, then that thing comes on which makes we wait before enabling the "start" button to be pushed. then when its done i press start. now comes the problem. (or meybe it occured before) well what happens? NOTHING! nothing happens.. nothing opens. it says "patching complete" i press start, then nothing happens. i need help! help me! pleeeaaasee!!!!

As far as I know, I have changed nothing since the last time I logged in and yet this popped up earlier today.

Every time I log on, change characters, or even change maps my hot bar goes away. When I press F12 it reappears in the middle of the screen. When I change maps again it does the whole disappearing act all over again. Help with this anyone please?

Ok so I am fully patched but when I click the start button the patcher disappears, but it doesn't take me to the login screen. Can anyone help me?

Figures when I get an urge to get back in the game I'd hit a snag this big... I tried updating my current client but it kept crashing before it got all the patches, so I figured it would be faster to just reinstall the client completely and catch myself up most of the way. I've got the zip, tried extracting it... it hits the data file and stops halfway through it saying the file is messed up... okay, bad download right? I download it again... same result. Maybe it's WinZip, I try WinRAR... same problem, it says the file is corrupt. And as I extracted to my existing aRO folder, that means it wiped out my old data file, leaving me completely screwed... Can someone help me out here?

So, as we know I play aRO daily, usually for 2-8 hours a day or something (.-. My god, that's alot)

Was playing it last night, then went to sleep. Woke up today and tried to go on, but I got a prompt telling me that sak.exe is a virus. I don't see how or why, unless it somehow got affected from the 2 minutes of internet I used before trying to get onto aRO.




So as it stands, if AVG is up I can't get past the patcher. If I close AVG, telling the patcher I want to play closes the patcher but doesn't bring up aRO.


Help?

PS: I've no idea what the other 3 are, but the kernel32 and shell32 have been there for months :n I don't know what they denote. I think the host change is new though. Madoi tells me that backdoor.<virus> usually means it lets someone else gain access... so would a change to the hosts imply that that someone made themself an account on my computer?

I've tried the manual patching and the autopatching, and still it stops either on PVModel or on the first PVTexture (er, older stuff, I haven't played for, like, six months). I'd like to start playing again, but... this isn't exactly helping.

wat the problem is this i have downloaded the client 5 times till now and always it stops at an update telling error angelic.exe send error report/dont send error report.i have checked every thread over here they tell to manually patch and set proirity to realtime
but noting works for me.i just have a 512kbps connection.it takes 12 hours to download this client 1 time.when are we gonna get outta this problem.this is a biggest disadvantage for this server.when is this dirty problem gonna get fixed.and why is this problem happening. please correct it as fast as possible.and please give me a soultion for this problem ASAP.and i cant download the client again.other than that if u have any solutions please tell me.I'm just getting mad because i have seen in the home page that this server has frequent updates of main kro server so i try to play on this server.can u please tell me the best solution other than redownloading the client. i just wanted to play this server.


and if i download the thing at which it freezes then it freezes at another patch update and some times even if i download the patch at which the clinet freezes even also it freezes at the same patch and again i have to patch whole client again. FOR GODS SAKE HELP ME.....................................

I'm having trouble extracting aRO with WinRar is there anything else I could use?

Every time I attempt to type a character into the login name and password areas, 2 or more "W's" are typed too... I get it done by backspacing twice per letter, but it's quite annoying.

Any solutions to this?

I have the bgm files but the music won't play for some reason. I can hear the sounds effects but the music won't play.

I've tried toggling the bgm by typing /bgm.

Oh wait, my bank account isn't related to aRO.

Whenever I mob some monsters, they follow me for about 2 seconds, then instantly make a 180 on me and change direction o.O

I don't think it's supposed to be that way...

Here's the deal.

Found a way to (HOPEFULLY) bypass some of my bogus errors.
In order to do this,I will need to input a new kernel32.dll file.
Have the hot little download in my archive butttt I have no idea how to switch out my old file for this new version. This file might kill my computer but that's okay cause I have backup cds.

Can anyone help me?

Something is wrong with aRO, I've downloaded all the updates I need but it still isn't working. And, seeing as I'm really bad at this whole internet gaming thing I was wondering if some one could take the time to just one on one walk me through this. It probably won't take long but the help would be much appreciated.

ok i entered the arena in izlude while exploring and now I'm unable to leave evey time i walk to the door it kicks me back into the arena is their a suicide comman or some way for me to get out. its my main toon and apearantly you cant delete yer characters which sux so theirs no fix.

All I know is one day there was no music and when I decided to finally look in the RO folder I noticed the BGM folder was gone. I don't feel like re downloading the 1GB file over again, I really do enjoy the music here so I am wondering if it is at all possible to some how download just the BGM folder?

Didn't know where else to pose this question i put in an acount request about a week ago and still no luck how long does it normally take I'm patient to be sure but this seems like a really long time maybe not anyone who can give me a heads up will be my BFF

Well, this is a problem I experienced when logging in to join in the tournament. I'm playing on my laptop, as thats all I have with me in university (Win XP SP 2). My mouse will work fine until I start the client through the patcher, at which point my touchpad mouse stops working. I can hook up my USB mouse and it'll work fine, but to get my touchpad mouse working again, I have to restart the computer. Any way I can prevent my mouse from breaking?

I decided to play Angelic since it has been awhile since i have. When i tried to patch it didnt work so i came and looked around the culverts. I tried following what some people did but now it wont even connect.

What I did:

Download patches manually (Novemver - December)
Set Angelic to Real Time

And now it will not connect and i don't feel like completely redownloading Angelic (yet again)

Help please?

P.S. I'm using the full client

Edit: It's patching now >> but the patching randomly stops at different parts
