Weekly Friday Event!

Alright!

As we all know Sara has become the Admin again.. and in light of all this I have decided to start an weekly event day, with the help of the GM team and Sara. KinYoobi or english for Friday is the name of this event. Each week it will consist of 3-4 different events some new and some old. Suggestions for events are more than welcome and the events will continue every friday. This does not mean there will not be events other times through out the week though! None the less the first KinYoobi is tommorrow, or April 25th. The events that have been decided for April 25th are:

• Alphaporing
• Minotaur
• I Love
• and Flowerpot
  
  The chosen time for the event will be anytime between 8-11 Server time
  Also! Come back each week to see the new events for that friday!

Event Time!~

Alrighty my peps! It like hit me! Haven't had anything fun happen anytime soon so geuss what time it is! Event Time! Now now what should I do for ya? I think its time for a multiple event! Arightyyy!  They will go in any order but heres the plans.

• Hide and Seek
• PvP
• DBs
• Tentacle Race
• and My version of Magician Porings!

The event will take place Friday, the 22th of February!

Now, The prizes? Oh, they are the best part.

For everone that gets first place in the Events gets 20 GBs*. (*Hide and seek is 3 GBs each winner of a round. The prizes for my version of Magician Porings will vary and will be explained at the event). The second place winner will recieve a food item and a GB. For everyone that participates they will receive a GB for showing up. But >.> you can't go and come back and get another its a first time only thing*. (*This might change to every event participation receives a GB or selected events get GBs for showing up depending on total number of GBs at the beginning of the event). Also to make it a little more fun the winner of the PvP round will receive a Willow Card, along with their 20 GBs.

Time?

Well the events will happen all day between 2pm RO time to 1AM RO time. So you will have plenty of time to get in on the action! So suit up and get ready for a fun filled Day!

So, as many of you know, I'm in Australia. This in turn, leads the whole snow/cold/winter thing of Christmas more than irrelevant. Today I heard, as I have many times, an Australian take on a christmas carol.

I am organizing a detale party for two items that he drops(30% drop rate) to finish a set. And I need YOU to help me.

I know some you think this is just a little amount of zeny, but I think it helps a lot. Besides, it's coming from my own character's pocket. The only GM-given prizes are the event tickets. I'm hunting throughout these 2 weeks to get the 1,125,000 I need to pay for the prizes, PLUS my own needs. And NO, I'm not going to ask for a registration fee. It would just lower the amount of registrations.

We're playing the Ship, or Hitman, as it's known in RL, over aRO! And I'm running it.

And here's the rundown:

Every player involved will be given a special, tradeable item that will have no value at all. This will be your weapon. You will be given a target. You will know their name. Your goal: find a way to get into a trade with them. Once you are in a trade window with your target, put your weapon in the trade window. You have killed your target. The player does not have to accept the trade, only accept it. You may want to screenshot your assassinations.

To confirm a kill, send me a PM over the forums. If you are killed, send me a PM over the forums telling me who killed you. Following a successful kill, you will be given a new name. When you die, you will also receive a new target.

The game will run for seven days.

You are allowed to pass your weapons between alts and use them to trick someone into dying by your hand.

Keep your target secret, else word may get to them and they will reject your offers.

There is also a punishment for killing the wrong target.

Please only sign up if you can be reasonably active from December 1-8 (War's end on the First through War's start on the 8th).

-Type: 2 vs 2 pvp tournament. This is a paired up tournament. I suggest you get a good partner. Not only good in PVP, but one that complements you. You need to help each other out.

-Date/Time: Sunday, November 25, 2007; 9:00~9:30pm (Server Time)

-Place: Amatsu. I thought about other places, but their too small for pairs to be fighting. I'll leave those other places for futue 1on1 tournaments I plan to host.

-Restrictions:
--NO HEALING ITEMS except for Alchemist's Potion Pitcher **(READ BELOW). If anyone during a fight uses a healing item (hp/sp raise), the pair will be disqualified. No Food, No Amulets, No Element resist potions. . However, you MAY use apsd potions and any skill-related items.
---**Potion Pitcher Restrictions: They can use upto 20 healing potions per match. Note: This is only HP raising potions. No blue pots allowed, not even for alchemists.
--ALLOWED USABLES: ASPD potions, skill-related items (look above for restrictions), Green Potions and status relief items. If you have a doubt, ask before the match just to make sure.
--Suggested Levels: I recommend you take characters above level 75 to fight, but any character pair may be registered.
--ONLY ONE CHARACTER PER USER. Don't be silly. You know you can't dual-client and you can't fight against yourself, so only register ONE character.

-Registration Info: Name, level and class of the pair members. You can do that here on this forum, to bacobaco@live.com, through a PM in-game, and through the forum's message service. I'll be taking registrations until the day of the tournament. I do suggest you register on time, though, for you may be awarded a "Bye" (Immediate pass to the 2nd round) if we get enough registered pairs.

-Prizes:
--First Place: 1 million zeny (500k for each player) and 4 Event Tickets (2 per player)
--Second Place: 500k zeny (250k for each player) and 2 Event Tickets (1 per player)
--Third Place: 2 Event Tickets (1 per player)

On Majolka Island lays a single village, the far-away village of Ragnie.
Ragnie is well-known for its farms and harvests, and every year, they host a Harvest Festival!

This year, everyone is invited!
For just a few days, certain monsters will start dropping certain food items.
Collect (or even cook) as much of these as you can, and bring it to us!

You can turn in your food collections starting Sunday, up until 8 PM Server Time on Wednesday.
When you turn them in, we won't take your food, but it will be considered your final count, so be warned!
Also, food dropped from the monsters will disappear on Friday, so indulge yourself!
The food will stop dropping at the end of this collection time. HOWEVER!
We will have one final collection after war in Ragnie Village, where will announce the winner~

We also hope to have another event after war, and then another on Friday!

The monsters that will be dropping food starting today are as follow:
Hedgehog, Kraben, Savage, Marina, Boiled Rice, Rice Cake Boy, Muka, Orc Warrior, Spore, Coco, Flora,
Live Peach Tree, Marin, Drainliar, Porcellio, Requiem, Scorpion, and Crab.

So yeah, I'd like to start with an apology.

Sorry guys for being rather lax the past month (or two?) with holding events. I've been meaning to post this up for a few weeks, but whilst aRO is/was see-sawing with being up and not, I thought I mose well wait. But... yeah, figured I should.

So, again, apologies. I'll try to host some more events, but with the lack of interest the player base tends to show, and with Sara's wonderful Metaphysical realm adventures, I haven't been terribly inspired to host events.

If you think there is sufficient willingness for an event, feel free to PM me on my player characters. I won't always be able to drop everything and host an event, but I should be able to atleast some of the time. And if you're really want to help, I'm very open to consider other games. Either PM me across the forums, or ingame, and tell me the idea.

Guess when the Otterpops' Emperium falls this Wednesday!

Details

• Make your guesses below stating when the Otterpop Emperium will be destroyed. Guess times should be to the nearest minute. That is, 1-60 minutes, or NEVER.
• One guess per person, although I'll let you put in more than one guess at the same time, provided that you pay me 500k for each extra guess :3. But if you just want to change guesses, your last guess will be treated as your definitive guess.
• The final count will be by my clock, located conveniently on my computer.
• Winners will share the prize equally. If the winners are all part of a single guild, I'll throw in something extra for the team effort.
• It doesn't matter who breaks the Emperium, but obviously it's easier to control the break time if you're the one breaking.
• If >:3 manages to get the Emperium back in either castle, the count will resume as if we'd never lost it. In other words, only the final Otterpop loss counts by the end of the war. Sorry, winners write the history books!
• Guess deadline is at the start of Wednesday's war.
• If I'm not on during Wednesday, I'll postpone or cancel the contest. Depends on how things work out.
• And to cover my butt, I get to amend the rules at any time. It's not like you guys lose anything for guessing, so nyaaaah.
• No Drama Allowed. >:3 stands against drama!

Well, since Lott hasn't played the game in a forever, and probably won't be heading back to it any time soon, Lott's decided its time to give all of his items and stuff away to people who might actually want/use them. Now, most of its complete garbage, but, you know, there might be something good in there Lott doesn't know about.

Now, this'll probably be in Prontera, cause thats where all the cool kids hang out these days, right? I'll hold it either Sunday or Monday night (depending on whats happening IRL), but I need suggestions for times. Nothing too late if its on Monday, as Lott has his first day of work the next morning.

Anyways, I'll probably just shout out the name of an item, and the first person to express an interest in having the item gets it. No getting two in a row, however, and try to make sure everyone who shows up gets something, even if they're really slow at expressing interest in it (yeah, this bits on the honour system, I just don't want someone getting 20 items and someone else getting 0).
