While I don't agree with how Kazu presented his argument (It was a bit rough and the title insulting).

I happen to think he has a valid point in waiting for the official servers to work through things on their test server.

As stated, aRO already has plenty to work on.

While I do believe in preparation - implementing anything now would be jumping the gun a bit don't you think?

Of course there's logic to that argument, when it's presented gently.
Lashing out at me for a decision that has fair arguments on both sides isn't really excusable.

The thing is, adding the changes later would just make more trouble.
There'd be more to change all at once, so more bugs would pop up at a worse time.
Besides that, the official server will just continue making wider changes before launch.
I waited until they made Sakray R public and started posting public patch notices for it before doing this, too.
To add to that, the changes are so wide that many bugs are pointless to fix in the current state anyway;
Things can change so much right away, making the bugs of the past moot.

Furthermore, no one ever bothered to wonder if the renewal was going to be on the low-rate if we stay open.
It was going to remain in testing in the less important higher-rate server while the low-rate would not be in renewal mode.
I made the entire thing a configuration option, even reading different databases. I thought this out.
I've been an admin for years. People may hate me and judge me, but most of them couldn't do better in my shoes.

You are by far the worst admin, and PERSON, I have ever met or known.
Saying you've been an admin for years on THIS place with what you've
done to it is like saying you've been the manager of the most run-down
McDonald's in town, but the only one that serves food until 1am.

As far as a better admin; I know for a fact I am a better admin than you are for one reason:
I'm the one that gave people hope in things actually, y'know,
getting FIXED, and not ABANDONING the place like you did.
Say whatever you want to this degree, but the fact is the
place was in FAR more capable hands with me than it was with you.

At least Archon had stable admin(s).

I knew that whole "turned a new leaf" thing was all rubbish. What the hell is your deal? Yes, decisions being made are bad. Yes, I'm unhappy with the situation, but at least I'm not being a heartless bastard about it.
